    Paul Marriner joined the Core Assests Group in 2018 and offers over 35 years’ experience in the UK care sector. His commitment is to focus on delivering the highest quality standards of care, enabling even more children, families and carers to achieve positive long-term outcomes.

    Jo joined as Group CEO in 2019. She brings a lifetime of experience having grown up in a fostering family herself, as well as gaining 20 years professional experience in the sector. Her commitment is to helping the children in our care to reach their full potential, and providing foster parents with the best support and services possible.

  • Jonathan Clark

    Group Finance Director

    Jonathan has been the Group Finance Director since 2007. Having previously worked for PricewaterhouseCooper (PwC) he gained valuable experience in many areas relating to finance including auditing, assurance practice, due diligence and other deal related advisory services.

  • Roy Murray

    Managing Director, FCA

    Roy joined FCA Midlands region in 1999 as a support worker. After qualifying as a Social worker in 2002, Roy progressed through a number of roles with FCA Midlands region including Supervising Social Worker, Fostering Service Manager, Operations Manager and Registered Manager. Roy joined the FCA senior management team in May 2016, taking up the national role of Chief Operating Officer and was subsequently promoted to his current role of Managing Director.

    Over the years Roy has significantly contributed to the growth and development of FCA, and in particular has been key to the Midlands region achieving a number of successful Ofsted inspections. Prior to joining FCA Roy worked in a Local Authority for over 10 years undertaking children’s residential work, child protection support and preventative work with children and families.

  • Sarah Dimmelow

    Managing Director, Core Assets Children's Services

    Sarah joined the Core Assets Group in 2011 as an Area Manager for London and the South East, supporting three fostering regions in FCA as well as developing Children’s Services. She became Core Assets Children’s Services Chief Operating Officer in 2015 and later became Managing Director. Prior to joining Core Assets, Sarah worked in residential adult services and in children’s services, developing new ways to support children, young people and families with mental health and disability, as well as safeguarding children at risk. She holds postgraduate qualifications in social care leadership and mental health.

  • John Platt

    Managing Director, Fostering People & ACS

    John joined Core Assets in 2005 in FCA York’s and Lincs region before joining Fostering People in 2008, becoming the registered manager in 2009. He progressed through to Director of Operations before becoming Managing Director for Fostering People and Active Care Solutions in 2016. He is also responsible for overseas Quality Assurance, Safeguarding and Learning and Development across the group.

    Prior to this John was a social worker and then Team Manager of Local Authorities Children and Families Teams. John lives in Nottinghamshire with his partner, two adopted children and one adopted cat! For John, this gives him an insight into what fostering is like – the joys, pride, love and turmoil as young people grow up – giving him an inkling into what our carers have to navigate each day. On a lighter note they are all learning the guitar at the moment – minus the cat of course!
