Adoption Support

Our adoption support, like all our services, centres on the child – but extends to birth families, adoptive families and professionals for a stable and compassionate transition.

So how do we help?

Well, we offer therapeutic support and counselling to support the child and adoptive family in what can sometimes be a difficult period of adjustment.

We also have a network of family rooms where birth families can spend time together. We can also arrange direct or indirect contact, where this is needed.

We provide post-adoption therapy to ensure that children and families are happy in the long-term. And with over 80 venues UK-wide, we can offer this important service even in instances where the child is relocated away from their placing Local Authority.

For professionals such as teachers, support workers and social workers we also provide consultation to help understanding around the needs of adopted children and young people.
