Core Assets attends National Children and Adult Services Conference 2011
Core Assets was pleased to attend the National Children and Adult Services Conference 2011 at ExCeL London.
This year’s conference carried the theme of ‘Tough Times, Good Decisions’, and addressed a variety of issues surrounding services for children and adults – issues which are becoming more poignant in the current climate.
Representatives from Core Assets were able to discuss how we can assist our customers to meet their challenges, and offered delegates the chance to gain insight into our range of solutions across children and adult services.
Tough Times, Good Decisions
Concurrent with the theme of ‘Tough Times, Good Decisions’, key service deliverables including early intervention and residential migration were prominent discussion points. These represent two examples of Core Assets’ service delivery aimed at promoting best outcomes for children and young people in a cost effective way.
Sally Melbourne, Executive Director, commented: “Attendance at the conference provided Core Assets with a unique opportunity to further discuss the current issues across multiple sectors. It also offered a valuable insight into high level policy developments that will influence the products and services we can offer through the Core Assets Group.”
The conference is a vital component of the annual calendar for councillors, directors, senior officers, policy-makers and service managers with responsibilities for education, children’s services and adult care in the statutory, voluntary and private sectors to discuss current challenges and solutions within the social care sector.
